Société Générale’s Czech operations include the Komerční banka group. Komerční banka is one of the leading banking institutions in the Czech Republic and across Central and Eastern Europe. The close cooperation between Komerční banka and SGEF in the Czech Republic dates back to 2003. In 2011, Komerční banka acquired a majority stake (50.1%), with the remaining 49.9% held by SGEF SA. This partnership primarily benefits clients by providing competitive offers and reducing the administrative requirements for deal approval.
