We’ve created an action plan to lower our carbon footprint, with regular measurements and clear steps to achieve reductions.
This plan aligns with Société Générale Group’s strategy to reach carbon neutrality by 2050. We have identified the primary sources of CO2 emissions and developed procedures to reduce them.
Reducing electricity and heating consumption in office spaces – prioritising an energy mix derived exclusively from renewable sources.
Employee commuting and business travel – encouraging staff to embrace CO2-saving practices.
Company travel and fleet management – introducing a new strategy aimed at steadily lowering emissions from our company vehicles.
Minimising waste production – reducing office paper usage and eliminating single-use plastics.

EcoVadis silver medal
We take sustainability and corporate social responsibility seriously and are committed to making continuous improvements in these areas. Each year, we are assessed by EcoVadis, one of the most trusted independent sustainability evaluators. For 2024, we retained our silver medal, placing us among the top 15% of companies evaluated. In the financial services sector, we advanced into the top 9%.
This recognition underscores our structured and proactive approach to sustainability. We have achieved an advanced level across all evaluated areas, including reductions in energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, the use of eco-friendly materials, and efficient waste sorting and disposal. We also rate highly for respecting labour and human rights, encompassing diversity, equality, inclusion, workplace ergonomics, and training initiatives.
