Apple Pay

Mobile payments with Apple Pay allow you to digitalise any contactless payment card issued by Komerční banka. You can then make easy, quick, and secure purchases with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac you use every day.

iPhone

1. Open the Wallet app.
2. Tap the “+” symbol in the upper right corner.
3. Follow instructions in the app:

• Scan your card using camera or add your card information manually.
• Confirm the payment card terms and conditions.
• Select the card authorization method.
• Enter the verification code, unless completed automatically.

Apple Watch

1. Open the Apple Watch app on a connected iPhone.
2. Tap “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add card”.
3. Follow instructions in the app:

• Scan your card using camera or add your card information manually.
• Confirm the payment card terms and conditions.
• Select the card authorization method.
• Enter the verification code, unless completed automatically.

iPad

1. Open Settings.
2. Go to “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add card”.
3. Follow instructions in the app:

• Scan your card using camera or add your card information manually.
• Confirm the payment card terms and conditions.
• Select the card authorization method.
• Enter the verification code.

MacBook Pro with Touch ID

1. Open System preferences.
2. Click “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add card”.
3. Follow instructions in the app:

• Scan your card using camera or add your card information manually.
• Confirm the payment card terms and conditions.
• Select the card authorization method.
• Enter the verification code.

 4. In the Settings of your iPhone, select Wallet & Apple Pay and then select “Allow Payments on Mac”.

If you wish to add a credit or debit card that has already been linked with your iTunes account, enter the verification code of the card. Alternatively, select “Add another card” and scan the card information using your iPhone camera.

Apple Pay allows you to make quicker and more secure purchases in stores, in apps, and on the web with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac.

Make purchases quickly: To pay in stores, use the device you currently have with you. When making purchases within apps or on the web, you can use Apple Pay without having to create an account or fill out lengthy forms.

Face ID

In order to make payments using Face ID, double-click the side button, glance at the screen, and hold your iPhone near the contactless terminal.

Touch ID

In order to make payments using Touch ID, rest your finger on Touch ID and hold your device near the contactless terminal.

Apple Watch

In order to make payments using Apple Watch, double-click the side button and hold your Apple Watch near the contactless terminal.

Payments on the web and within apps

In order to make payments within apps or on the web in Safari on your iPhone and iPad, select Apple Pay and verify the payment with Face ID or Touch ID.

In order to make payments on the web in Safari on your Mac, select Apple Pay and verify the payment on your iPhone or Apple Watch. With your MacBook Pro, you can also verify payments using Touch ID on the Touch Bar.

With Apple Pay, you can make purchases at any merchant that supports contactless cards. Moreover, you can pay in apps and on websites that support Apple Pay.

Apple Pay is a secure and discreet payment method.

When you make a purchase, Apple Pay uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code. So your card number is never stored on your device or on Apple servers, and when you pay, your card numbers are never shared by Apple with merchants.

Apple Pay does not keep transaction information that can be tied back to you. All your purchases are thus absolutely discreet.

• I was unable to digitalise my payment card.
  Verify that your card is valid, active and supports contactless payments. 

• Is it possible to digitalise several payment cards for Apple Pay mobile payments?
  Yes, the Wallet app supports up to 8 payment cards per each device for the purpose of Apple Pay.

• Can I digitalise a payment card via Mobilní banka?
  We currently do not support this functionality.

• I was unable to make a POS payment.
  Please check that your device supports Apple Pay based on the list of supported devices at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208531
  You can make payments after verification on your device using Face ID, Touch ID or security code.

• How do I select a default card?
  Go to Settings and click Wallet & Apple Pay. In the Transaction defaults, select the default card for your payments. Prior to each payment, you can select another card (other than your default card) for one-time payment by tapping the desired card in the Wallet app.

• What PIN should I enter if requested on the payment terminal screen?
  Enter the same PIN you use when making payments with your plastic card. 

• What are the limits for payments with the digital card in my mobile phone?
  The limits for POS payments are the same as for your plastic cards.  

• Is it possible to use the digital card for payments within apps and on the web?
  You can only make payments within apps and on the web in Safari with merchants that support Apple Pay. 

• Is it possible to use the digital card for ATM withdrawals?
  Yes;, it is possible to make withdrawals on ATMs that support contactless function. You must always enter your card PIN.

• Is it possible to make on ATM deposit transaction using the digital card?
  This functionality is currently not supported.
