Notice of Jan Juchelka’s reelection as a member of the Board of Directors

Prague, 4 December 2024 – Komerční banka, a.s., with its registered seat at Praha 1, Na Příkopě 33/969, Zip Code 114 07, Id. No. 45317054, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, section B, file No.1360 (hereinafter referred to as "KB" or "Komerční banka") announces that

in connection with the expiry of their term of office, the Supervisory Board reelected Mr. Jan Juchelka as member of the Board of Directors with effect from 5 August 2025.

Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Komerční banka, a. s.
Born September 19th, 1971.
A graduate of the Silesian University, Opava.
He worked in the National Property Fund of the Czech Republic from 1995 and during 2002 to 2005 he was Chairman of its Executive Committee.
From 1999 to 2006 he was a member of the Supervisory Board of Komerční banka
(KB). He joined K B in 2006, first as Head of Prague’s Corporate Banking Business Division and later that year he became a member of the Board of Directors responsible for managing Top Corporations and Investment Banking.
From 2012 he worked in the Société Générale headquarters in Corporate and Investment Banking as Managing Director, Head of Coverage with responsibility for corporate clients in the Central and Eastern European Region, Middle East, and Africa. He also worke d as Senior Banker for the Central and Eastern European Region.
Komercni banka’s Board of Directors elected Jan Juchelka as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Komerční banka, a. s. with effect as of August 3rd, 2017.
In 2020, he was also a member of the National Economic Council of the Government (NERV).
Jan Juchelka is also Chairman of the Management Board of Nadace KB Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Modrá pyramida , President of the Alliance for a Carbon Free Future and a member of Conseiller du Commerce Exterieur de la France (CCEF Jan Juchelka was appointed President of Czech Banking Association (CBA) by the representatives of the banks since June 2023.
He has won prestigious awards such as TOP Manager of the Year, TOP Responsible Leader of the Year and Banker of the Year. In 2023, he was awarded the Chevalier de l'orde national du Mérit, or Knight of the National Order, for his outstanding services to the French nation.
