Komerční banka is the winner of the tenth year of the prestigious Fincentrum Bank of the Year award. In its history, the award has been granted 10 times, in which Komerční banka has acquired already the fourth absolute winning.
“I have been in Komerční banka for little more than two months. Therefore, I perceive The Bank of the Year 2011 award particularly as the well-earned appreciation of everyday work of almost nine thousand employees of the whole Group,” said Charles-Pierre Serain, Executive Director, Marketing, Communication and Business Development of Komerční banka.
In the recent results published as of 30. 9. 2011, Komerční banka proved its ability and determination to provide its clients with financing even in the time full of macroeconomic and regulatory uncertainty. The year-on-year increase of the total volume of provided loans by 11,9% to CZK 435,1 bn, net banking income for 9 months of 2011 exceeding CZK 7 bn, capital adequacy at 16% and a number of new products confirm that the prestigious Bank of the Year award is in right hands.
Within a short period of a few past months, Komerční banka has been appraised several times. At the end of August, Standard & Poor’s increased the rating of long-term creditworthiness of Komerční banka from A to A+ and confirmed a stable perspective. Thus, Komerční banka has the best rating of the Czech banks within the aggregated ratings granted by three largest rating agencies.
“Primacy in similar awards and rankings is the recognition of day-to-day work and common effort of KB employees to provide clients with the best services on the Czech market. I believe that expressions as service quality, professional advisory or flexibility of services gain the real sense just right in KB,” added Charles-Pierre Serain.
